I’ve always been health-minded — but my physical health didn’t always reflect that.
I grew up outdoors, playing sports, helping in our family garden, and waking up early to ride bikes with my dad. Movement, sunshine, and good food were part of everyday life.
But like many of the busy, health-minded professionals I now work with, there came a point when doing all the right things still wasn’t enough.
After college, my body began sending clear signals that something deeper was off — persistent allergies, weight that wouldn’t budge, hormone shifts, and energy crashes that no amount of sleep or caffeine could fix. I was frustrated and confused, wondering how I could be so dedicated to healthy living and still not feel my best.
Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology — the study of fitness, nutrition, and health — and a background as a personal trainer, I was determined to figure it out. I tried every plan, every diet, every formula.
Sometimes I’d see progress, but it never lasted — because the real problem wasn’t willpower or discipline. It was that I didn’t yet have the right data or the full picture of what was happening inside my body.
That realization — that there were missing pieces — is what ultimately set me on a completely new path toward understanding what true health really means.
At 25, I was diagnosed with skin cancer — with no clear explanation from my doctors. My bloodwork was “normal,” and on paper I looked perfectly healthy. I was a personal trainer, exercised regularly, and ate what I thought was a clean, balanced diet.
But my body told a different story. My allergies were getting worse, I was dealing with constant headaches and muscle aches, and I felt run-down no matter how disciplined I was. Around the same time, my mom nearly lost her life to liver cirrhosis — a moment that made me realize health isn’t something to take for granted.
That diagnosis became my turning point. I knew I had to go deeper and understand what was really happening inside my body — because I didn’t want to live a limited life, hiding from the sun and worrying about the next skin-cancer spot.
That’s when I discovered Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® (FDN) — and everything changed. Through advanced functional lab testing, I uncovered the missing pieces that standard bloodwork had overlooked: hormone imbalances, gut dysfunction, nutrient depletion, and signs of cellular stress.
With the right data-guided lifestyle changes, I was finally able to connect the dots, restore balance, and start feeling like myself again — clearer, stronger, leaner, and more grounded than ever before.
That experience changed how I view health completely. For me, ideal health isn’t about perfection — it’s about feeling at home in my body.
It’s the understanding that healthy is a way of being, not just doing. It’s about living in alignment with your body — not simply checking boxes or grinding away to get results.
There’s a difference between eating healthy and eating right for your body. Every so-called healthy food isn’t necessarily the right one for you — and every person’s path will look a little different.
I also discovered that you have to get healthy to lose weight, not lose weight to get healthy. Because when your body is in balance, the results naturally follow.
And perhaps most importantly, I realized you can’t out-supplement, out-diet, or out-exercise a too-busy lifestyle or an overworked body. Everything you need to heal lies within you — it’s just about finding the right way to support it.
Today, I move in ways that serve my body, fuel it with the right foods, minimize toxins where I can, and fiercely protect my time and energy. It’s not about control — it’s about connection.
This journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been deeply rewarding. It’s taught me that real health is less about doing more, and more about doing what’s right — for you.
As a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® Practitioner, my work centers on one belief: when you understand what’s truly happening inside your body, you can finally make informed choices to support it — and the results follow naturally.
Through advanced functional lab testing and comprehensive lifestyle assessments, I help you uncover the core causes of what’s holding you back, so you can stop guessing and start making decisions with clarity and confidence.
But the data is just the beginning. The real transformation happens when you learn how to listen to your body and trust what it’s telling you. Because your health isn’t a destination — it’s a journey.
“Your health is a journey. It will change direction as you learn more, and you’ll evolve with it — so don’t get frustrated. Hold space and patience for the potential for change.”
What you once thought was “healthy” might look completely different once you understand your body’s unique needs. And when you live in alignment with those needs, everything shifts — your energy, your confidence, your outlook, your life.
Today, I don’t chase a number on the scale. I feel good in my body, exactly as it is. My energy is steady, my hormones are balanced, and I feel deeply connected to the person I’ve become.
That’s the power of knowing your body — and it’s the freedom I want every person I work with to experience.
In 2016, my health took an unexpected turn — and for a while, I couldn’t pinpoint why.
This time, I was doing all the “right” things from an evolved perspective, yet my body started speaking up again: cystic acne, irregular cycles, weight gain, restless nights, and waves of anxiety that seemed to appear out of nowhere.
Then one day, I opened my guest room closet door and got the answer — mold covered the ceiling. Suddenly, everything made sense. The hidden mold exposure had been quietly working against me, triggering inflammation, hormonal chaos, and eventually, Hashimoto’s.
But here’s the difference this time — I was equipped.
With the tools and awareness I’d gained from my earlier health hurdles, I knew exactly how to respond. I adjusted my diet, supported detoxification, prioritized rest, and released even more stress from my life.
I didn’t panic — I navigated.
Within six months, my Hashimoto’s was in remission — the weight came off, my skin cleared, my energy returned, and I felt even better than before.
Life happens. We can’t always predict or prevent what the future holds — but how you choose to navigate it makes all the difference.
When you understand your body, when you have the right data, tools, and awareness — you’ll always know how to find your way back to balance, no matter what comes your way.
Life will always bring unexpected turns — but when you know your body and have the right tools to support it, you can handle anything that comes your way.
You can live the healthy, vibrant, freedom-filled life you’ve always envisioned — one where you feel energized, confident, and fully yourself.
As a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® Practitioner and Master Transformational Coach, I help busy, health-minded professionals just like you take back control of their health by finding the missing pieces of their unique health puzzle.
Together, we uncover what’s really going on inside your body, fix what’s out of balance, and design a clear, sustainable path forward — so you can finally feel and function at your best.
My approach is simple, powerful, and rooted in data — not guesswork.
Your body is an interconnected system, and every part plays a role. That’s why we look at the full picture — hormones, gut health, detoxification, energy, immune balance, and more — to identify what’s truly needed for lasting results.
Because when you understand your body and know exactly how to support it, the “impossible” becomes entirely possible.
If you’re anything like the busy, health-minded professionals I work with, you’re already doing so much right. You eat well, stay active, and try to prioritize your health — but something still feels off. Maybe you’re tired no matter what you do, your energy crashes, your digestion is unpredictable, or your hormones feel out of sync.
You’ve probably been told “everything looks normal” or “this is just part of getting older.” But deep down, you know that’s not your truth.
Because you know your body — and you know when something’s not right.
Here’s the thing: your body isn’t broken. It’s communicating. Those signals — the low energy, restless nights, bloating, or stubborn weight — are its way of telling you that something deeper needs your attention.
And when you uncover the core causes behind those signals, everything changes.
Through the Health Boss approach, we’ll use real data, advanced functional testing, and targeted strategy to help you see the full picture of what’s happening inside your body — to guide simple, sustainable shifts that create lasting results.
This work isn’t about doing more; it’s about doing what’s right for your body. It’s about clarity, confidence, and freedom — knowing how to support yourself in any season of life.
Because when you have the tools, awareness, and understanding of your body, you’re not just maintaining your health — you’re the Boss of it.
